Our hotel in Bellagio, Villa Serbolini, was fantastic! We really enjoyed the Lake Como area and I would highly recommend the area for a visit. We loved all the small towns we visited; wished we had more time to spend in each one.

On Thursday evening when the whole ash situation broke and they started cancelling flights in the afternoon my family was headed to Marseilles on Air Canada - we had a villa booked in Provence. Our flight at 8pm was cancelled… Madeleine at TTI monitored it all afternoon so by 3:30pm when the cancellation came through she was the first to advise us.
We were in a panic because my in-laws were leaving at 6pm from Montreal, were already at the airport and we had no way to tell them NOT TO BOARD. Madeleine called the Air Canada Circle of Excellence telephone line and someone picked up within a minute. Even though she only knew the in-laws names and guessed the flight they must be on, Circle of Excellence put her on hold and had the airport in Montreal PAGE the in-laws. They were able to recall the luggage and stay home.”
